I’m normally not someone who writes reviews, but I’ve been using British Supplements since 2024. I came across the company while looking for cleaner, more natural supplements without unnecessary fillers or rubbish ingredients. Honestly, well done. It’s refreshing to find a company whose products actually match what they promise.
I’ve tried quite a few supplements from the range. I can’t afford to use all of them at once, so I sometimes rotate them and take breaks while trying others. My personal favourites are Ashwagandha, Lion’s Mane, Rhodiola, Biotin, Turmeric, and Magnesium Glycinate.
Turmeric and Magnesium Glycinate: Last year I injured the disc between my L4 and L5 vertebrae and was basically stuck in bed for around 3.5 months. With conservative management, my body gradually healed. Thankfully I’m now walking normally again. However, the pain has not completely gone away, as I still have a bulging disc that is affecting my cauda equina nerve, since I did not have surgery.
So, I wanted to reduce my use of Naproxen and codeine as much/soon as possible. I started looking into more natural support options alongside my recovery. Turmeric and Magnesium Glycinate have genuinely helped me a lot! Turmeric has been especially helpful for day-to-day comfort, particularly in supporting my body with pain and inflammation. Magnesium has also helped with muscle tension and overall recovery.
Rhodiola and Ashwagandha: Both have been a brilliant combination during a very stressful period of my life. Most people take Ashwagandha at night, but I actually prefer it in the morning. It helps me feel calmer, more balanced, and less reactive to stress before someone inevitably tests my patience. :)
Biotin has also helped reduce the amount of hair shedding I was experiencing. That may have been related to stress, medication, or general deficiencies.
And Lion’s Mane? That one feels like clearing the fog from my brain. I feel sharper, more focused, and less mentally sluggish.
Dandelion felt like a gentle, natural supplement that supported fluid balance without any strong side effects. It’s not something that feels dramatic, but I did notice a subtle difference while taking it.
So thank you, Chris, for the amazing work, and thanks to your team as well for always being fast, helpful, and professional. Also, the new packaging is by far the best so far. It seals much better and feels far more durable than the previous version.
Overall, I’m really impressed with both the quality and effectiveness of the products. British Supplements is definitely one of the few supplement companies I genuinely trust now.
