Olive leaf extract is great for many things and I try to always have some. It's antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal. I sometimes use it in liquid form from another company because I like its taste - slightly bitter but so yummy! Mostly I use it to fight off dental infections. I had a few removed and they are bound to reforms. I take about 20 other supplements, mainly from BS. Some days, I will be honest, I forget...It's ok I guess because I have been taking them for quite a few years now, on and off. I did notice though when I went without for 2-3 weeks, something was just not 'right' somehow, and it took me a while to get back on track. If it is true that every bit of the human body regenerates completely every 7 years (although some bits take longer -liver- and some bits take shorter time -blood-) then I have quite a few years to go to support my body the best I can for a complete regeneration process : ) Thank you BS!!

I was recommended olive leaf (specifically the British Supplements one) from my holistic dentist. I'd tried the liquid version from another company in the past and had never felt any effects of taking it, so was sceptial. My dentist told me to take this prior to and post my tooth extractions to help prevent any infection and help the healing process. He started me on a low dose and increased it for a few days before and then after the procedure. At first I felt really ill. My stomach hurt, I felt dizzy and just weird, but I persevered, as I trust my dentist. I'm so glad I did because after the surgery and after my body had got used to the olive leaf, I felt AMAZING! I have a history of Epstein Barr Virus/M.E/CFS, burnout and Endometiosis (which they now think is an immune related disorder) - I get what I would describe as occasional flare ups of EBV (not M.E/CFS tho) when I am under stress or eat too much processed food/sugar and drink alcohol. What I feel - though obvsiously can't prove - is that the olive leaf really attacked the EBV - or boosted my immune system massively - which in turn meant it could fight the EBV. So although I stopped it after the dental surgery - as i felt so good, with massive amounts of energy - I have recently started taking it again as I have been noticing signs of an EBV "flare up" and want to "nip it in the bud". I have started on just 1 a day and am already noticing the uncomfortable responses - which to me is great - as it means I really KNOW it IS WORKING - unlike other supps where as i said, I felt nothing. I won't take it continuously - just for a week or so, until I feel my body can do it on its own. Re positive response - I have immediately noticed a reduction in my sinus issue aspect of it - no waking up at 3am, sneezing (histamine reaction), runny nose! So, I personally believe in this supplement and how great it is for the IMMUNE SYSTEM. I will be stocking up for the winter too (along with BS's Vitamin D3/K2).

I've been taking the garlic and olive leaf supplements for over a year. I'm still alive! I didn't have any specific illness/symptoms that I was trying to get on top of - I just wanted to boost my immune system and stay healthy. As a keen runner (50+ miles per week) my knees have never felt better. I've decided to add tumeric and Vitamin D into my daily routine, so expect to be winning the London marathon next year. Read a lot of reviews before I decided to buy from the company. I had chronic sinisitus for months and was fed up with the pain. The drs solution was steroid sprays and antibiotics, 2 different kinds which didn’t even touch the sides more so as it is inflammation and not a bacterial infection. My face was throbbing constantly and I was concerned about the side effects of the steroid sprays especially after prolonged use and how it can weaken your immune system. I decided I had enough and wanted to go down a more natural route and emailed the company and asked what they would recommend. I was told olive oil extract and garlic which I ordered and started using straight away …kid you not after a couple of days I felt a difference in the pain level it really had subsided. I had also bought ashawagandha from this company too as sinisitus often left me feeling meh and with brain fog at times too! I genuinely feel a massive difference using all 3 together , most days I don’t even notice or feel any discomfort. I do however combine the supplements with exercise , eating less processed food and I love meditation, mindfulness and yoga and being outside and I feel a combination of these have really improved my physical and mental well being. I actually purchased the Olive Leaf extract as part of a protocol recommended for my dog who has suffered with allergies and infections, particularly skin, for many years. We went the vet route once and never again, they wrecked him with their nasty chemicals and made his health even worse, despite him being on a purely natural diet. It's taken a lot of research and trial and error but I came across a protocol for him that included olive leaf extract and I knew the only place I would purchase this from would be British Supplements. Crossed fingers, so far we are seeing signs of improvement for the first time in years. This may not be due solely to this extract but I am sure using a clean, quality product has helped with the rest of the protocol. I recommend this company to everyone I know.
