I purchased devils claw and vitamin D3-K2 as I had the worst pain in my joints…iam going through the menopause. It was that bad I thought nothing would work …I tried different things and didn’t want to give up or go to the doctors..within a day the pain was easier ,I’ve been taking them for a week and apart from a slight stiffness my pain has gone ..I go swimming eat well etc which goes hand in hand with taking supplements…words can’t explain how relieved I fell iam getting back to feeling my normal self well worth the money thank you..

Reduces severe pain in knees

My husband was told 10 years ago he had done a great job of getting rid of all his knee cartilage but he was too young to have a knee replacement. Since then his other knee has worsened and he now has virtually no cartilage in either knee resulting in significant mobility issues and pain when he does move.
He doesn’t want knee replacements and unlikely to get them in the current climate anyway. So we started looking for alternatives to improve the pain to maintain as much mobility as possible.
I did some of my own research but also BS were able to advise on pain management stacks.
So about 3 months ago we added Boswellia, MSM to his stack of Vit D + K2, Vit C, Zinc.
The knee pain is extreme but with a clean diet the supplements are working well to keep my husband mobile and reduce the pain in both knees. He will continue to take them and we’re hoping the devil’s claw recently added will improve his pain management further.

Devils claw

I have pain in my fingers, wrists and elbow.I take over the counter pain relief when it’s bugging me a lot. I came across Devils Claw maybe from something in another review in your email, can’t remember exactly. I wondered if it could help me so ordered from you as I like the fact that your products are clean.
After about 3 days I was aware that the pain was less and although one of my finger joints is worse than the other hurty bits I am definitely not in as much discomfort.
I Thankyou very much 🌻Sally

I Think It Works On Inflammation

Have been suffering from covid vaccine-induced headaches for a year now. Even the NHS neurologist has given up on me and has run out of medications to prescribe for the inflammation in my brain. I am already a BS customer so I spent a great deal of time reading reviews for loads of their products (research) to find something which may help me. I tried 5-HTP, it wasn't for me, made me feel quite agitated. This may have passed in time but I wasn't happy so I kept searching. Have been using Devil's Claw and I must say it is amazing! Migrainous headaches have been severely diminished and now seem to be few and far between. I take Devil's Claw daily but in the beginning, I sometimes took an extra one when I had a headache start and the headache disappeared, which I had never experienced before. So for me, Devil's Claw has made a huge difference and helped give me back quality of life. All of BS products are superb quality and the reviews are so helpful. Highly recommend Devil's Claw for reducing inflammation. Thanks to Chris and the team.

Walk down any UK high street or scroll any sites online, it's all weak, filler-stuffed snake oil most of the time. Thin air with fancy marketing.

Funny, that. Nobody ever felt a thing off them, so there's nothing worth censoring, so the sellers carry on untouched it seems.

Here is a pattern I've noticed over the years:

Who Benefits?
  • Supplements that do nothing - you stay unwell - you end up a Big Pharma customer. Allowed
  • Negative reviews - "see, herbs don't work, go get their pills." Allowed
  • Not Allowed

As your humble narrator would say.

    • Freedom of speech ✗ Not Allowed
    • Real reviews (your experience / feedback on each supplement) ✗ Not Allowed
    • Categories that help you find what you need IE Heart Health for example ✗ Not Allowed
    • Scientific research links on this page? ✗ Not Allowed

They don't want freedom of speech around natural products as they don't want you to be aware that you have a choice.

The better it works, the more they want it gone. And here's the exact law they created to stop natural products

Urgent Notice · UK GovIt is an offence to sell or supply or to advertise a medicinal product which does not have authorisation.A "medicinal product" is defined in Regulation 2 of the Human Medicines Regulations. The definition is:
  1. 1. Any substance or combination of substances presented as having properties for treating or preventing disease in human beings.
  2. 2. Any substance or combination of substances which may be used in or administered to human beings either with a view to restoring, correcting, or modifying physiological functions by exerting a pharmacological, immunological, or metabolic action, or to making a medical diagnosis.
- The Human Medicines Regulations 2012 (S.I. 2012/1916)

So the second a person says our supplement helped them, they can brand it an unlicensed "medicine" and order us to pull it off the shelf.

I wonder who brought that law in. I wonder who it benefits most?.

Clean Genuine Devil's Claws 588mg (29.4 Harpagosides)

Supplement details

Product Name: Devils Claws

Scientific Name: Harpagophytum

Other Known Names: Wood spider, Grapple plant teufelskralle, m

What is it? Devil's claw - Harpagophytum procumbens
A low, sprawling perennial that grows in the red sands of the Kalahari, Namibia, Botswana, the Northern Cape and nowhere else. It's a strange plant: a trailing vine above ground with big trumpet-shaped pink flowers, and below it a central taproot that sends out fat secondary tubers, sometimes a metre out from the plant, which is what's harvested.

The tubers are sliced, sun-dried and shipped; the bitter iridoid glycosides in them, mainly harpagoside, are what an extract is standardised to. Ours is 5% harpagosides.

Why the name. Look at the fruit. It's a woody capsule armed with curved, barbed hooks up to several centimetres long, evolved to snag the feet and hides of passing animals so the seed gets carried off.

Anything that treads on one, antelope, cattle, a bare foot, is in trouble, and the local names all say so: duiwelsklou in Afrikaans, Teufelskralle in German, and the botanical name Harpagophytum means "grappling-hook plant". "Grapple plant" and "wood spider" are the older English names. Procumbens just means it lies flat.

How long people have used it. For as long as the San and Khoi peoples have lived in the Kalahari, which is longer than anyone can put a number on, they were digging the tubers before there were written records of the region, and the Tswana, Herero and Nama peoples took the knowledge from them.

Beyond that we don't say. The plant reached Europe through the German colony of South West Africa, now Namibia, where a farmer called G. H. Mehnert is generally credited with learning about it from a local healer around 1907 and sending dried tubers to Germany.

Nothing much happened for forty years. The German botanist Otto Heinrich Volk brought it back to attention in the early 1950s, the pharmacognosist Bruno Zorn published on it in 1958, and harpagoside itself was isolated and named in 1962.

Germany has been the biggest market ever since; France, Switzerland and the UK followed in the 1970s and 80s.

Who used it. The San first and longest. Then, from mid-century, German pharmacists have had it in the German pharmacopoeia and in every serious German herbal since the 1960s and 70s.

Today devil's claw is Namibia's biggest plant export by a distance: several hundred tonnes of dried tuber a year, dug by hand by rural harvesters in the Omaheke and Otjozondjupa regions and the Kavango, most of it going to Europe.

Which part of the plant is used ? Root

Strength / Specs ? 5% Harpagosides

What exactly do we get ? Each Capsule has 588mg Devils Claw extract which gives us 29.4mg Harpagosides plus 65mg of our Uptake blend (1:1:1) Black Pepper extract (10% piperine), Ginger extract (5% Ginerol), Cumin extract (10:1).
